Link to category

I’ve just installed Minimatica for a friend. Thanks a lot for your great work!
Maybe this is a noob question but nevertheless…
Is it possible to link to categories from the slider images?
I’d like to have a slider submenu for every slider image on my homepage. I’ve installed the Ultimate Category Excluder plugin. With this plugin I can exclude all other categories except home for my homepage. Now I’d like to link the slider pictures from home to categories. Any chance?
