Hello all, thanks way beforehand. I tried searching this topic before posting but could not find an answer.

When I create a post, insert an image, I cannot get the image to show up on the slider. I have tried setting the “Format” to:

    x Standard
    x Image
    x Gallery

None work. I have tried setting the post as a sticky, and none work. Is there a definitive size I must choose when posting the image for it to appear in the slider?

Fixed somewhat. Is there any mechanism that I need to follow to get the sizing in order. E.g., my images show up now, but the sizing is off. I created custom images 230w x 410h but the image doesn’t appear centered. I tried centering it, tried positioning it to the left. No dice

    Hello,
i like this theme too. But I have the same problem. No Images on slider just a dark background there. I tried to reinstall all incl. wordpress, but no effect on this topic. After all I found out, it doesn’t work on one of my computers (Linux, Win7 and win8 / Internet Explorer, Chromian and Firefox) including that preview “http://wordpress.org/themes/minimatica”.

    Any Idea?

Thank you for reading and thinking about this

Click Select Featured Image found in the bottom right hand corner of the post page- click that and the image will appear.

    Hello treecomer and all

that seems to be the right way. Because and but, I don’t have that button. In the Media Library I can see “Edit | Delete Permanently | View” but there is no “Use as featured image” πŸ™

I’m not the only one with this WordPress problem. In the forums I can find so many people with the same issue, but no solution. I will go on with my searching – or do you know a solution? If I find something I will post it here!

It is possible that you have to activate that option first. On the top of the page there should be shown “Screen options” on the upper right corner of your “Edit page” area. Klick on their and put a hook behind “Featured Image” in the image coming down.

At the bottom of your “Edit post”-page you should now be able to set a featured image.

Using the gallery for that requires you to take a different approach so I’d stick to that one if you’re not really familiar with WordPress.
