I am using the Pinboard wordpress theme and am designing my site. However the social media icons don’t seem to be showing in the header even though i have added the facebook and twitter links in the theme options. The only icon that shows is the search. Please help.

Great theme by the way, thank you.

Remove any widgets you may have in the “Header” sidebar.

I don’t have any widgets in the header apart from the search which was already there from the start.

You need to remove the search widget as well. Search form is shown by default in the theme.

I just looked at your site and can see the social media links in place.

yes the social icons are in place but the links don’t seem to be working? however, if i view the site in the original location http://www.connecting-people.co.uk/ccc/ the links works. Is there anything i can do so that the links work on the domain website http://coffeecashcraze.co.uk/ ?

The problem is you’re including http://www.connecting-people.co.uk/ccc/ location inside a frame. That’s bad for one million reasons: the address bar is broken, site is unindexable by search engines, the domain may be penalized for duplicate content and external links don’t work inside frames, that’s why the social media links don’t work.

Here’s a guide that explains how to migrate a website from one domain to another.
