I am a very happy user of your beautiful theme (see But I have one question that I have not been able to answer myself.
What do I need to do to have the comments on my articles/blogs visible on my website? I can only see them ‘behind the screen’ , when I am updating the website, not when I am not logged on.
I hope you can help me.

Thanks a lot!

]]> <![CDATA[Reply To: All articles show in full in the blog feed]]> Mon, 17 Sep 2018 22:44:56 +0000 bcp One more thing, I left the blog post itself on format ‘standard’.

]]> <![CDATA[Reply To: All articles show in full in the blog feed]]> Mon, 17 Sep 2018 22:44:01 +0000 bcp Hi,
I had similar issues, but after a while i managed to solve it! Here you can see my news page which shows the excerpt rather than the full blog post.

Steps to reproduce this result:
– go to appearance / theme options
– click on the grid loop tab
– select template to edit, select category
– select grid, select the second or the third or fourth option

good luck!

]]> <![CDATA[How to apply a design to the WordPress themes]]> Mon, 17 Sep 2018 15:07:52 +0000 susanmicheal2346 In the last articles we have seen how to create a template from scratch and we have started working with the PHP API of WordPress to control the behavior of the contents managed by this CMS with its own themes. However, until now it was all simple text and a template should stand out visually with other types of elements. In this article, we take a step further in the creation of themes in WordPress and review how to apply the design and web layout we want to our templates and easily integrate the external files we need (images, CSS, etc.)

To define the aesthetic aspect of our own template that we develop for WordPress, we only have to use the same ingredients that are commonly used in the development of websites. That is, CSS style sheets, images and various components according to the needs of the project, but that we will have to integrate into our own theme.

Integrate the stylesheet of the template
As we explained in First steps to create WordPress themes , any WordPress template has a main CSS file, in style.css . That file has been necessary to create our first theme, but for now we have only placed a set of metadata. There you must write all the CSS we need for the website.

The style sheet of a template contains the CSS that a traditional site would have. The only detail we need to make in WordPress is to link it properly. Obviously, you can not directly use an absolute path, because the template should adapt to any domain that the website may have where you want to apply and to any route where WordPress is installed within a domain. It is also not possible to use a relative path, since the template could also be installed in different folders, or have child themes that inherit from this template.

]]> <![CDATA[Mobile Menu (Click entire row not just arrow)]]> Thu, 13 Sep 2018 02:13:36 +0000 krselby02 On a mobile device I would like to click the entire row and have the drop down menu appear, not just the small arrow that appears on the right. Is this possible? I don’t want it to go to a page, I want the sub-menu to appear. Here is my site I am only concerned with the mobile menu…desktop menu is fine.

Thank you in advance!

]]> <![CDATA[Reply To: Adding Search Box to Main Nav]]> Sun, 02 Sep 2018 19:27:54 +0000 jmcclinsey Is this support forum dead now? 5 days with no response tells me it probably is.

]]> <![CDATA[Adding Search Box to Main Nav]]> Tue, 28 Aug 2018 13:06:35 +0000 jmcclinsey I’m trying to add a search box next to my main menu, inline with the menu items but have had no luck with this. Several topics came up in search but did not help and I also added a plugin (Ivory Search), but that just adds the search box above the header image.

Any help?

Thanks in advance!
