    Dear all,

I tried to set up a fullsize background image for my Website with “Pinboard” theme. Although the image size is 3264 x 2448 the theme display it quite small, so it dissapers behind the main content area. The only way to get it big is to select one oft the repeat options. But this causes not a nice result. I want so set the picture right all over the background …

    Any ideas?

Thanks a lot in advance and

    best regards

    Hi Daniel

thanks for the swift reply. Unfortunately, I can’t post a link to the website yet as it’s not ready. I’ve tried to overcome this issue by keeping the pages relatively short.

But, to further clarify, the issue is the following. When you go to Appearance>Background, you can select and upload a background image for your site. However, it seems that regardless of the actual size of the image, you’re not able to “stretch” it out. The only options available are to have it tiled horizontally, vertically or both, and this doesn’t produce a good result optically.

It would be great if you could let us know how to tweak that using some code. Also, if it would be possible to change the dimensions of the content area, for example if one wanted more of the background image to show.

Many thanks again for a wonderful theme!

There is nothing in the theme that restricts the size of the background image. It’s most probably caused by a plugin of some other piece of code.
