Ok I’ve managed a few of the things I asked earlier thanks to some lovely helpers but a few issues remain. Sorry I’m really not very good at this but desperately want to be!

I now have replaced the featured category with the reviews category on the home page. See http://www.docgeeks.com
However, now the text starts underneath the image instead of next to it – any ideas of what I’ve done wrong?

The other issue about IE still remains, as said I’m using IE8 at work and the main menu comes up with one category dissapearing behind the Search bar – and now another category (The Authors Page of which I have removed the plugin) is still showing up.

What should I add to my CSS to prevent that?

I copied my new CSS in Pastebin – If you could help that would be great http://pastebin.com/jztSQkT8

    I’d really really appreciate it!!

    Best,
    Alex

You probably also replaced the id of the container. Make sure the container’s is called featured.

Many thanks for your help Daniel – much appreciated! One more thing though (sorry) where would I place the Google Analytics code in this theme?

Use a plugin like Google Analytics for WordPress or the more complete WordPress SEO by Yoast for that.
