Formatting on homepage

    I have been going crazy trying to figure this out and finally decided to ask for help!

    Is there a way to restore the line breaks to the formatting on the homepage?
    I wanted to control the length of my post excerpts so I replaced the_excerpt with the_content in the content.php. Now I am creating a custom excerpt by using the “read more” command… However much of the formatting is stripped in the posts on the homepage.

    I still have bold and italic, but the line breaks are stripped and the excerpts look a bit sloppy. Can anyone suggest how to add them back to the homepage excerpt? I don’t where to look for the commands that are causing the stripping.

    Try to also replace the class entry-summary with entry-content

    I have the same question! Where are you changing the class tags? In the actual post, or in the editor? thank you! Love the theme!
