Frontpage Post Title text: some letters get cut off (WP 3.8.1)

    Hi everyone, I’m using the great Pinboard theme, it’s packed with features I love. I do have a huge issue however, on my Frontpage http://www.zelfmakentips.nl, I have some Posts Titles that have letters ‘falling off’/cut off. This looks pretty bad. Also I see some of the text that is under the title text also having some issues.
    I am using 4 Content columns, with footer & sidebar columns set to 2, using WordPress 3.8.1.

    I have some CUSTOM CSS filled in, after suggestions that I found to fix stuff, but it even gets worse when I delete that code, so that’s not the issue.

    Does anyone perhaps know what’s happening and how to fix it?

    Help very much appreciated, this is a great theme, but I’m stuck.

    Oh, some more specific info, as it is in Dutch perhaps it’s hard to recognize, one post has the name “Hamburgerbroodjes zelf maken”. On the word “Hamburgerbroodjes..” it cuts it off and makes it: “Hamburgerbroodj…..”. It cuts off “es”, 2 letters.
