    Hello everyone,

First of all, I want to thank and congratulate the team OneDesigns for work performed on “Pinboard” and to allow beginners like me to start with a theme of such quality and free ..

That said, I have a small problem. Indeed, I utillise “Pinboard” on a (French / English) bilingual site and I want to view the articles in full on the home page and in a grid on the pages of blogs.

Yes but now, the theme does not recognize my home as such because of billinguisme site that redirects the visitor a host generated based on the language of the browser page content. Either French or English.
    .
In the theme options, I met some problems to manage the display of items because I have a conflict between the setting and the home pages of the blog page.

If I said (in general settings) that I want to display the articles in full on the home page, they also appear in full on the blog page.
Conversely, if I indicate that I want to display uneiquement summaries of articles homepage, blog posts also appear in summary form.

To overcome the problem, I thought configure category assigned to blog as portofolio. My site is bilingual in French category is displayed as well portofolio, but not its English translation.
Browse your forum, I read that one could attributed portofolio aspect to all subcategories of category data, but again, the site is billingual, I have to assign a language categories created and I can not assign a parent category of a language other than subcategory …

    Oops, I’m writing a novel you πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

Finally here, I want to display items in the category associated with my blog as a grid and not in full.

‘d Know you give me some advice or research avenues to solve my problem?

Thank you in advance for your help,

    best regards

    Bruno

It depends on which plugin you use to display the localized version. It should have its own conditionals for displaying the home page.
