I have suddenly developed a problem viewing my site in Chrome. It was working fine, then suddenly and without warning the heading text started to get cut in half. The site renders fine in both IE and FF. An example of what I’m seeing can be seen here:

I see the same issue when I view the Pinboard demo site in Chrome as well.

I have NOT been able to duplicate this on other computers running Chrome, but I am concerned that whatever happened to my browser might happen to a visitor’s.

I’ve tried clearing my cache, rebooting my machine, and adjusting font sizes in the theme – nothing works. I have no extensions installed, nor have I changed any default settings. The site was rendering correctly in my browser for days – this issue appeared suddenly.

Can anyone please shed some light on this for me? While Googling, I did find someone else who seemed to have the same problem, but there was no solution that was documented there.

I’m going to try reinstalling Chrome. Any help or ideas anyone can offer would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

Hi, I am having the same issue, with Chrome only. It appears that we are using the same font: Oswald.

I have tried altering: line-height, width, height, display: block, display:inline-block, z-index, paddings and margins of all wrapping spans, link tags, and divs. I’m stumped.

I’m going to use Yanone Kaffeesatz as a replacement font. I am not seeing this behavior with any other font.

    Nice design btw.

I am not able to recreate this issue. Can you please post a link to your website?
