I made a page with Pinboard, and I have homepage setup as portfolio. Unfortunately, on mobile view portfolio doesn’t display at all, the default text of the homepage appears.
On other pages portfolio displays great. What can I do to fix this? From what I can see the theme works great when it comes to responsiveness, so I need to figure out how to force the homepage to be displayed the same way as in desktop version.AdvertismentDaniel TaraKeymaster
So the desktop version displays the portfolio and the mobile the page’s content? There is no way the theme causes such behavior. There is no server-side detection on the theme’s part that sends different content to desktop and mobile devices. The responsiveness of the page is done exclusively in CSS and JS. You may be using a mobile plugin that causes this strange behavior. Regardless, can you post a link to you site so I can take a closer look?MarkBParticipant
Hmm, not sure if I can link the site just yet (just doing a favor for somebody).
Previously there was a link “view full site” in the bottom, which displayed the same thing. I did some digging, and in Jetpack settings there was an option to use the mobile theme, and it was turned on. I disabled it, and now there is still the same link in the bottom, only this time when I press it I get the portfolio.
Question is, how do I disable the “mobile view”? After turning off the jetpack mobile view option, there isn’t anything else in the site settings concerning mobile display.
