Is it possible to create more than one portfolio in Pinboard? I would love to showcase different aspects of my work. The site is still under construction so I don’t have a URL to share.
Thanks so much for this theme, it’s exactly what I needed (with a few minor tweaks, but isn’t it alway so )marie
Daniel TaraKeymasterOnly one category can be assigned as portfolio but you can use several subcategories for the main category.
imcarmelParticipantI’m not sure I understand. Let me tell you what I’d like to do:
I’m a weaver and I’d like to split my projects up into Animal (wool), Vegetable (cotton and linen) and Mineral (metal wire). I would love for posts categorized Animal to end up in an Animal Portfolio, the ones categorized as Vegetable to end up in a Vegetable Portfolio and so on… with each having a separate menu item. Is that possible? I don’t see an option for doing that in the portfolio section of the theme options.
thanks
marieDaniel TaraKeymasterAs I said, only one category can be assigned as portfolio but any subcategory of that category will behave in the same way. You can edit the menu manually under Appearance > Menus and the portfolio categories will also get a category filter as you can see in the demo.
imcarmelParticipantThat worked! Thanks!!
But I can’t seem to change the color of the menu links when that’s the current page. They’re the right color both when inactive and when I hover over them, but the text turns to the default white when I click on it. And since my menu bar background is white they disappear! http://ingamariecarmel.com
