If you made a beautiful customization of one of my themes or just have a nice website using a theme from here, share a link to it in this section and we will be able to provide you with feedback.

I am also planning to create a showcase gallery on the website to give credit to all the beautiful websites out there and yours could be featured.

Ok, my first website using the Minimatica theme is really finished now (kind of in the same way that yardwork is finished). Please have a look–I’d love feedback:

I set it up so with only one set of sliders on the home page. Each panel of the slider represents a category, and when you click on the panel you go to a set of thumbnails. Thumbnails activate the slideshow. I like the setup because its easy to add more photos, or move them around (delete and repost–to add more shots I go to dashboard>all posts>edit(whichever post I want to mess with)>click on featured image at the bottom of the page>select files.

With this setup I can’t add more posts, so I run the blog through a subdomain (blog.gregaitkenheadphotography.com) and use the default Twenty Eleven theme. It works really well. I’m using the Fast Secure Content Form plugin for email replies, which works great.

I still need to work out some way to link to my flickr site without displaying images (I just want to show an icon as a link somewhere in the footer), and I need to find a better way to link to other pages and expand content.

Also, I just finished a portfolio site for my mother in common-law’s art gallery. This one is much more straight forward–each image in the slider is an individual post with the image itself uploaded and then picked as the featured image. You can see it here:

Overall I’m loving Minimatica–thanks again Daniel.

So, I chose your theme for my photography website. It is of course a work in progress, and I am always interested in creative/technical feedback and constructive criticism. Also, I am interested in finding other image gallery and slideshow plugins to use on my pages, since there are a few aspects I would love to be able to change on the ones I’m using, but don’t seem to have the configuration options necessary available in the setting controls.
Anyways, thanks to Daniel for making this rad, free theme, so those of us who seek dynamic pages can focus on the content filling them, rather than the design and mechanics of making them. -Scott

I’m in the process of rebuilding my site: http://www.digitalmediabox.net and everything is working pretty well. But in building another site I have a problem with the sidebar not aligning to the top of the content.

Please help: http://www.mediamaxx-advertising.com in particular, look at the Portfolio page.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Just launched a new photography website using the Minimatica theme for a very happy client. Check out http://www.jennifermccuephotography.com.au!
I customised it by using a gallery from NGGallery to populate the homepage slider instead of blog posts, which allows Jen to change the photos on the homepage without linking them to her blog. I also changed colours and fonts to fit with her branding.
    What do you think?

I have been able to do everything I wanted to with the Pinboard theme. It took some time to tweak it the way I wanted it to look (thank you support threads!) and I am happy with the outcome. My site is a different angle on the theme πŸ™‚
